IT-Ware Expand the functionality of SE5302 integrating wireless sensor network

ITware "Hungarian Atop Partner" has increase the "DATALOGGER" functionality on SE5302 including now the integration of T&D "wireless sensor network" and in detail of RTR-5 series that include temperature, umidity and pulse metering instrument.

Main features of IT-Ware Datalogger are:


  • Configurable through a web based interface
  • Handles 2 serial ports; targets to each serial port are configurable independently.
  • Monitoring / trigger driven mode
  • Data can be forwarded on HTTP or SMTP (e-mail) protocol
  • NTP time synchronization
  • Web-based user interface with authentication; displaying recent sensor data locally through web pages
  • Stores read but unsent data in memory or on its flash drive.

T&D's RTR-50 wireless sensor network is a reliable and cost-effective solution for monitoring many locations at the same time. Sensors can be placed anywhere as long as they are reachable from the base station or any of the wireless router units. Thus the locations of the sensors can be chosen flexibly without worrying about cabling.

Industrial Managed Switch EH7510G...more reliability in Radio Link


New Managed Switch EH7510G include a special "U-RING" protocol able to manage a real "BACK-UP RING" in the new generation wirelless infrastructure, operating at 5 or 17 GHz License Free bands .

Infact working in these hi-frequency bands, the radio link could be lost for "BAD WEATHER CONDITION" also if the radio bridge continue to work properly. All existing "xx-RING protocolls" of common managed switches, detect (with different protocols) the fault on fisical ethernet interfaces and after this they provvide a new routing of data packet.

This approach is not enought if you have to manage a "Wireless Ring" in hi-frequency band, and hi-capacity band.



Working on "LOGICAL" interface each customer (network manager) can configure on which fisical interface any switches have to check the real connection, routing and by-passing any lost of data generated for unpredictable weather conditions.

EH7510x-xx represent today the most faster and reilable Industrial switch on the market, Railway certified and standard working from -40 +75 °C with less of 5 uSec latency

New Ethernet Switches EH-7xxxx for Motorway Sourvegliance Applications


Along the motorway there are a lot of equipments that could be connected to a TCP/IP network for a central/remote control like:
"METEREOLOGIC WHEATER STATION", "SOS TOWER", "VARIABLE MESSAGE PANEL", "VIDEOSOURVEGLAANCE CAMERAS" and other's.

With New EH-75xxx Series (Managed Ethernet Switches) and the previus EH-73xxx Series (Unmanage Ethernet Switches) is possible aproach the TCP/IP connectivity along the MOTORWAY with ROBUST, REILABLE and FASTER devices.

EH-75xxx is the solution for RING MANAGEMENT able to mantain "ALWAYS ON" the connectivity if one of network elements goes in fault or Fiber Optic link should be broken...

EH-73xxx is the solution for TCP/IP distribution along the fiber Optic Backbone normally installed along the motorway...in case equipments have one o more "SERIAL PORTS" could be use a ATOP SERIAL to ETHERNET converter (

Serial Datalogger over SE5302 (power by ITware)



ITware is a Hungarian "Atop Partner Company" focus on custom SW and FW development solutions.

Based on ATOP SE5302 (not present like standard products on ATOP catalog), ITware developed a powerfull Serial Datalogger able to collect data from 2 serial ports (RS232-422-485) adding the Time-Stamp on each serial string, store each string on internal memory and send by FTP (via LAN-WAN connection) to different servers...


ITware Datalogger is a good solution to log data coming from any kind of meters provide of serial communication port, but could represente the perfect solution mainly for Energy Metesr and Photovoltaic Inverters. TCP/IP Multiconnection on SE-5001 Sx

Atop has release the FW version SE5001M_v344 available for entry level serial-to-ethernet converter SE5001-Sx, that enable the multinconnection of max 4 PC (or hosts devices) t oa single Devices server, in order to share on internet a single serial device.


With this new FW SE5001-Sx manage the "data" traffic receiving the request from one of connected PCs and reply al all PCs in same time (Multicat). Multiconnection capability could be use on wired network (via ethernet switchs) as well on wireless (Wi-Fi) networks.

Using Atop EHG-2308 for 802.11n (300 Mbit/s) LAN to LAN wireless connection


Last Wireless directivity 802.11n permit free (unlicensed) Radio Communication with real bandwidth up 300 Mbit/s (depend on distance between 2 points). Some Access point operating in 5GHz band permit to reach more of 4 km with a real bantwidth of more of 100 Mbit/s. This technology is mainly used in BUILDING to BUILDING connection where is request a high efficiency of the connection.


New ATOP EHG-2308 with his 8 ports 10-100-1000 Mbit/s matching perfectly this kind of applications. EHG-2308 permit to have a great bantwidth and a very hi-speed operation because, like all ATOP industrial switches the latency is very low.

Little and robust could be installed (inside a outdoor box) on the roof close to Outdoor AP, his Temperature range permit to working fine from -10°C up 70°C. The reduntant power input accept from 9 to 48Vdc power supply and could be installed on Din-Rail or Wall with dedicate adapter.

Using Atop SW5001 like wireless RS485 “Fieldbus Replacement”


SW5001 can be configured in a UDP mode to establish connection using Unicast or Multicast data from, the serial device to one or multiple host computers. Vice versa is also true. For example, the original 422/ RS485 bus can be transferred and extended connected distance by SW5001

The destination IP is assigned by single IP or group IPs, The configuration is limited by the Local Listening Port. For example, on SW5001 listening port is 4660 which receive data sending from the host computers. SW5001 can support up to 4-group IPs for UDP connection, if users needed.

Atop EH2305-Fx like media-converter in Videosourvegliance

Atop EH2005-Fx is a family of Robust Industrial Unmanaged Ethernet Switch with ONE Fiber Optic port (Fm=Multimode, Fs=singlemode) and FOUR RJ45 ports (10/100).
